The story
Growing up in a village near Lucknow with no electricity until she was 10, she taught herself to read using a neighbour's books. Today, she is completing her first year of B.Com — the first woman in her family to attend university.
Her first year was funded through a partial scholarship and family contributions. Her scholarship ends this year, and her family's financial situation has not improved. Without support, she will have to drop out.
She has consistently scored above 75% and has already been shortlisted for a finance internship through the Dreamleap network. She just needs one more year of bridge support.
