Refund & Cancellation Policy

Dreamleap Initiative Foundation ("Dreamleap", "we", "our", or "us") is a registered non-profit organization committed to supporting education, mentorship, scholarships, skill development, and community initiatives.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms governing donations and payments made through our website.

2. Voluntary Donations

All donations made to Dreamleap Initiative Foundation are voluntary contributions intended to support our charitable programmes and operations.

Unless specifically designated for a restricted purpose accepted by the Foundation, donations may be used wherever they are most needed to advance our charitable objectives.

3. Donation Cancellation

Once a donation has been successfully processed, it is generally considered final and cannot be cancelled.

If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review the request on a case-by-case basis.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered in limited circumstances, including:

• A duplicate donation was made unintentionally.
• An incorrect donation amount was charged due to a technical or processing error.
• An unauthorized transaction is identified and verified.
• Any other exceptional circumstance where the Foundation determines that a refund is appropriate.

Approval of a refund request is at the sole discretion of Dreamleap Initiative Foundation, subject to applicable laws and payment processing requirements.

5. Non-Refundable Donations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:

• The donor changes their mind after making the donation.
• The donation has already been allocated or utilized for charitable programmes or administrative purposes.
• The donor disagrees with programme decisions or operational priorities after making the donation.
• Incorrect donor information was provided by the donor at the time of donation.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights available to donors under applicable law.

6. Recurring Donations

If recurring donations are offered through our website in the future:

• Donors may cancel future recurring donations at any time before the next scheduled payment.
• Cancellation will not affect donations already processed.
• Refund requests for completed recurring donations will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

7. Processing of Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

• Refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method where feasible.
• Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and the donor's financial institution.
• Dreamleap Initiative Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.

8. Tax Receipts

If a refund is approved after a donation receipt or tax certificate has been issued:

• the original receipt may become invalid;
• the donor may be required to return or disregard the previously issued receipt; and
• Dreamleap may issue revised documentation where appropriate.

9. Payment Security

Online donations are securely processed through Razorpay.

Dreamleap Initiative Foundation does not store credit card numbers, debit card details, CVV numbers, UPI PINs, internet banking passwords, or similar payment credentials.

10. Cancellation of Events or Programmes

If Dreamleap organises paid events, workshops, or training programmes in the future:

• cancellation terms specific to the event may apply;
• participants will be informed of the applicable cancellation and refund conditions before registration; and
• where no separate terms are provided, refunds will be considered at the Foundation's discretion.

11. Fraud Prevention

Dreamleap Initiative Foundation reserves the right to:

• verify donor identity where reasonably necessary;
• refuse or reverse transactions suspected to be fraudulent or unlawful, subject to applicable law and payment provider requirements; and
• cooperate with financial institutions and law enforcement agencies in investigating suspected fraudulent activity.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

The revised version will be published on our website together with the updated effective date.
